In pots with artificial lighting, the cannabis plants had grown up to 2 meters.

All the equipment needed to cultivate narcotic and make it ready for the market were placed inside the facility.
Those arrested were caught red-handed working with narcotic plants. With plastic gloves and work clothes, the suspects were arrested and sent to the police station in Prizren.
Four of the suspects were from North Macedonia, one of the arrested was the owner of the facility where the drug laboratory was discovered.
The prosecutor of the case, Ariana Shajkovci, arrived at the scene while ordering the police to detain the suspects for 48 hours.
A lot of evidence was confiscated at the scene. Starting from the narcotics, the prosecutor instructed the Police to confiscate the phones of the suspects and other documents that connect the suspects to the case.
"It was about a seven-story building, where the cannabis sativa narcotic was cultivated on the top floor. At the site of the event, there are 2 thousand 59 pots planted with cannabis sativa with lengths from 80 centimeters to 2 meters. In a part of the location, it was confirmed that there were 32 kilograms of marijuana that was in the process of drying", the prosecutor explained the findings at the scene.
She also showed that in the construction of this laboratory equipment was also used to artificially grow the cannabis sativa plant.
"Based on the very large amount of the plant that was found and the marijuana that was in the process of drying, we can definitely say that it is about its sale and distribution. Until now I cannot know the market, but in the coming days or months we will continue the investigations on where this amount of narcotics was destined", said the prosecutor Shajkovci.
"We have to take action on who is the real owner of the location," she added.
She also spoke about the citizens of North Macedonia arrested in the case.
"All those arrested were caught red-handed processing cannabis sativa plants. For now, we have to investigate and prove exactly the role of everyone who was arrested today", the prosecutor of the case continues.
According to the prosecutor, the group arrested for narcotics would also be required to be detained for 30 days, a request which would be addressed to the Court in Prizren.
The prosecutor emphasized that all the criteria have been met for the detention measure to be assigned to them due to the further investigation.
"The prosecutor's office only started investigations a few weeks ago, we are still investigating the case to see if there are other people involved in this case," she added.
Prosecutor Shajkovci appealed to citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in such suspicious cases.
"We must have the opportunity to intervene in that case as soon as possible, it is the obligation of every citizen to report illegal activities", said prosecutor Ariana Shajkovci.
